The Secret Garden

Today we went to an art exhibition at Carwinnion House near Falmouth in Cornwall. John Dyer, Ted Dyer and Joanne Short all had works of art on display and for sale at the beautiful house and we were able to explore the gardens too. They have some fabulous examples of bamboo which we could walk through and then we discovered this secret doorway into the walled garden all hidden behind the shrubs and bushes.
Tea and scones (with real cornish clotted cream) were served for our convenience on the patio to the sound of a clarinet octet playing various well known pieces.
All very enjoyable and a lovely start to our annual surf holiday.
