Harrison Park
Drove down to Edinburgh today to see my son and family. Lovely warm day and walked along the Union Canal to Harrison Park. Never been there before - today it was packed with folk sunbathing and enjoying some warmth and UV. Its a large square park lined by cherry blossoms and surrounded by very stately sandstone tenements which you see in many parts of Scotland ( apart from Aberdeen). I know we are meant to be a nation of couch potatoes but not much evidence of this today - the canal towpath was full of joggers, folk on bikes whilst there was plenty of folk rowing on the canal.
