Big Brother is Watching

A google camera car on church lane this morning. This is a long overdue update as the current street view is 12 years old. So many things have happened in those 12 years.

The biggest of course being losing my Dad, Ian and Molly the dog. 12 years ago brexit was unknown, the thought of a global pandemic and lockdown were unthinkable and Matt was just starting to be a baker.

Sadly today Matt has closed the bakery. He’s had a fantastic run, making many friends along the way but the economic environment has made it increasingly difficult for him. Clearly this causes a level of pressure and stress that he really doesn’t need.

I’ll miss the bread ( even though 2 slices would bring on quite alarming levels of ibs ( possibly a little much info there, sorry)), and the cakes.

It does mean more flexibility for cycling and music though which has to be a positive.

I hope his next endeavour is as blippable as the bakery.
