Merganser Family

Having seen photos of a Hooded Merganser and her multiple ducklings, I've been wanting to go and spend time with them myself.  Suzanne and I made it out there on a lucky day, because mama and her family were not far from the boardwalk.  They were very busy eating (crayfish/crawdads) followed by a nap, with mom always on the lookout.
