The rest of forever...

Do I know you?

I've been out a lot recently. The number of cuddle requests from Pip is rising.

Today was busy! Up at the crack of dawn, walk and breakfast, skype chat with you, gym session (ouch), shower and suited up. Drove up to the College and then walked up Steep Hill in about a gazillions layers of clothing as someone said the Cathedral gets cold.

No shit Sherlock! Stood from 9.15am until 4.30pm. Left the stand twice for a wee. The time flew, Simon and I met many people and handed out lots of leaflets and business cards...plus we had a few goodies...highlighter pens, keyring torches and pens...the torches went down a storm! Persuaded a few LSST kids that they should come to join me for the Sixth Form! It was bloody freezing, didn't feel my feet from around 10am so I jiggled about quite a bit!

Met Thorntons Digitalwhich was fab...her photos are amazing on her website. And this is me at work in the Cathedral on her blip today! My massage therapist and her triathlete husband came to see me as did a number of ex-colleagues. Fab. The Head of Communications from The Baker Dearing Trust came to join us at about half two and her Mother, ex-Head of Bolton Girls School, has taken a keen interest. We are having coffee together tomorrow morning to discuss a possible role on the Board of Governors. She would be a marvellous addition to the team!

Packed up at half four and strolled down Steep Hill (looking like I was dressed for an arctic expedition when everyone else was in shorts and t-shirt!). Returned some books, bought some tea, strolled back to the car and was home by 6pm. Dog walk, then decided I had better mow the lawn...finished at 7.30pm and after a shower, quick bite of tuna and mug of tea, I'm ready to hit the sack. 9.20pm. Not a bad day at the office!
