Our inner workings

Time I think for another family selfie. This time an extreme closeup of our intimmers, our inner workings.
These are our  karyotypes, our 23 pairs of chromosomes laid out for all to see. It was prepared years ago by a geneticist colleague who was researching something important but which has now totally escaped me. Mistress Talpa's chromosomes are the pink ones to the left while the blue ones to the right are mine
The pairs of chromosomes at the top right of each set are our sex chromosomes. Mistress T has two matching X sex chromosomes whereas I have an X and a Y chromosome.These alone are responsible for me being a grumpy old male, rather than a sweet old lady!
