I've probably interpreted the theme incorrectly, but it's SOOC ;) 

A short local ride today to Wickenby Aerodrome, where there is a small memorial museum to the bomber crews of the Second World War who were stationed there. It is one of many purpose built Bomber Command airfields of the time. 
Much of the land was returned to agricultural use in the early 1960s, and the northern part was sold and became a civilian aerodrome, which is still operational for many private pilots and a flying school. 
Lunch at the lovely little café, and a ride back before the rains came.

Packing up now, ready to leave tomorrow morning - a varied and enjoyable week with excellent company!
