Guten abend

A bit of a blast from the past. Many moons ago I spent a year working in a hotel in Austria, and one evening we decided to put on a cocktail party, which was fairly radical for a remote valley in 1988. Muggins here was convinced that I should dress up as a cocktail…. One other person was convinced but the rest of the staff were too self-conscious!

Next week we are heading off on a road trip, and will visit said village… will it have moved with the times, I wonder?
