A lovely lunch with three friends

Up early and I made a large pan of soup and started a fruit salad. Then it was off to the opticians for a check up.  My eyes have changed but apart from needing new glasses nothing awful to report.

We had to ring round and warn people we were only leaving town at just before 12 so to please wait at the front door!  

Only four of us as 2 weren't feeling very well and didn't want to spread germs.  A very similar menu to last time: leek soup - with lots of other veg too, some lovely walnut and rye bread from Sainsbury and fruit salad - orange fresh pineapple and raspberries with meringues and cake!
