Clematis Avalanche

A very soggy entry today after persistent rain since early morning. Fibre broadband is being installed in the village, with narrow trenches being carved in the pavements, wiring laid then a back filling operation. Quite a slick process, but awful conditions for the workers who continued throughout, leaving messy roads etc despite efforts to clean up. Can't criticise as the job is far from finished.
I will be off the grid until the early part of next week with a busy weekend in prospect.
