Rainy day

It has rained most of the day today.
We went and charged up the car for about 45 minutes and sat reading our books watching the rain pouring down.
After that it had eased off a little so we parked on Padstow harbour, lots of spaces available which is pretty unusual. We had delicious smoked haddock chowder at the London arms for lunch. The pub is under new management and was really good, though empty apart from us.
We saw this vintage Lifeboat in the harbour. You can do trips on it but that didn’t appeal in the wind and damp.
A bit farther along was a Jackdaw sitting on a railing contemplating the meaning of life or something. I thought the shot was not bad for 
a phone shot.
