Day 15 - Barcelona to Madrid

Today we took the fast train from Barcelona to Madrid, a distance of over 600 kilometres. Travel time was 2 hours 45 minutes less a few minutes for one stop along the way. The train travelled at a speed mostly above 280 kph and often 298 & 299 but only twice did it hit 300. Very entertaining for the little boy in me.
Spain is an environmentally progressive place, I am lead to believe it produces the majority of its electricity using green technology and is a world leader in utilising fast electric trains.
Madrid is different to Barcelona from what we noticed from the hop on-off bus but both cities keep their buildings looking smart.
