Bus ride

Decided to take the bus to a village about eight miles away and walk back over the moors. Red squirrel ran across in front of us and disappeared into the woods before I could get my phone out, still was good to see.
Lovely walk, not another person all day. Few spots of rain and a cold breeze, but overall a nice day.
Sat for a while on rocks having lunch and hot coffee.
Lots of game birds, plus lapwings, curlew and snipe.
Walk back was around eleven miles.
