Miller

In the tiny little village Bockenrod, situated along the Gersprenz, I spotted this wooden statue.
The statue, created by Siegfried Kümmel in 2017, was called "Der Müller" (the miller). In remembrance of the many generations of the families and people would worked here until 1960 as miller, to earn their daily bread.
The la(te)st miller was Jakob Treusch V, who ended his job as a miller in 1960.
