Quintessentially English

Left foggy Jersey very early and planed and trained to Bath. We had clients visiting from the US, so this country house was our destination for lunch. There was a herd of deer in the field behind me when I took this shot.

This evening I went to a writers’ meeting, first time in a long time that we were all together (which used to be the norm every fortnight) without anyone on Zoom.
