The Alnwick Garden

We left Harrogate just after 10am and decided we would stop at The Alnwick Garden on the way home. We couldn't have picked a better day as the 326 taihaku cherry blossom trees were in full bloom. My photos don't do justice to them at all as the overall effect is stunning. We sat on one of the swings for a while taking it all in before having a cup of tea to warm up my frozen hands! 
Arrived home at 6pm and spent the evening unpacking and doing the washing as I'm heading off to my daughter's on Saturday so it's a quick turnaround.
