Music of the Night

A wonderful concert last night. The Fireside Singers are celebrating 50 years of music making. Fifty years ago, Marilyn Whitehead’s vocal students had their spring recital in her living room beside her fireplace. Over the years, larger and larger venues have been needed and this concert hall has been used for their performances for the past five years. This photo shows most of the adult performers. They were joined by about 20 junior singers (some very junior) for a couple of numbers.
