Petralia Sottana, our Ancestral Town

Both my grandparents were born in the medieval hilltop town of Petralia Sottana in the mountains of central Sicily. Traditional Sicilian dish (extra) pasta (of course) with seasonal vegetables - fava beans, peas, and (wild) fennel (picked from the nearby fields).
