Victoria Quarter
Overnight bag packed, and the van loaded up with plants from the 'yard, we drove down to Leeds and arrived just in time to meet Lucy for coffee and cake. She's borrowing both my cameras for a couple of months to use while she's on a placement in France, as part of her course. After a very pleasant hour we said goodbye to Lucy, and on the way back to the van walked through the Victoria Quarter, under this fabulous glass roof.
Next stop Huddersfield. Must admit that spending an age getting out of Leeds in rush-hour traffic made me wonder why on earth we're coming to live anywhere near such traffic hell!
Jimmy and Sheena had kindly offered us an evening meal and a bed for the night. After we'd eaten MrM and Jimmy went over to Hebden Bridge for a music session while Sheena and I sat and chatted. Seemed a long day!
