Walking the dog

We’re driving to Canberra for a short visit, and are staying tonight in the delightfully-named town of Lemon Tree Passage, on the shores of Port Stephens. It’s  about the half way point of the 11-hour drive. Wikipedia tells me that Port Stephens was named by Captain Cook on 11 May 1770. Late in the day we walked along a boardwalk through majestic old mangroves and eucalypts.
