Wood duck in the woods

I was pleased to see this Wood duck back by the stream in the old woods. The first time I saw one a few years ago, I was stunned to see it sitting in a tree with its webbed feet. After the fire mitigation team came through and gave the woods a good buzz cut a few months ago there are few trees left to sit in. But apparently enough to keep the Wood ducks coming.
