The first of many ... I hope

It has been another rather miserable day. First task today was to take Keta to the agreed meting point where I then handed her over to Morna and we then went and had a quick coffee.

This afternoon I headed up to the Heritage Park in the search of some goslings ..... not disappointed. I eventually spotted a family of four on the water and heading towards the grass. I remember when the cream Greylag Goose was a gosling and I think this is probably her first little brood.
I do hope she just had the two and none were lost to the ravenous appetites of gulls and herons
