Today's view

Spent today doing not very much at all. 

The extra is a room in the hotel which has been given over to competitors in the Mallorca 312 which starts tomorrow at 6.30am. I'd never heard of it before this week and hadn't realised this area was such a mecca for cyclists. We've met groups of people in the hotel who are here on a cycling holiday. This event, however, is not for the fainthearted. It is a 312km ride which involves over 5,000m of climbs. The time limit to complete is 14 hours which means an average speed of around 22kph (14mph). Apparently the best entrants finish in around 9 hours.

The image only shows some of the bikes here. I would imagine the value of the bikes in this room alone could buy you a pretty comfortable place to live.
