Dolmen D51

is slightly further south than D50 along the same road. The capstones are damaged and there are still fourteen bearing stones and three portal stones.
The dolmen is 12.3 long and 3.5 meters wide.

There are still 54 dolmens in the Netherlands. 52 are to be find in the province of Drenthe and 2 in the province of Groningen.

We traversed through Drenthe for we wanted to pay a visit to someone in Emmen. It wasn't the most prettiest part of the province but because it's completely different from our own surroundings we enjoyed the ride.

The weather is picking up but still we booked hotelrooms for the next few nights.
