Sheep dunking

Every spring sheep from around the area used to be taken to sheep wash bridge in Ashford in the water to be washed to remove ticks and other unwanted things living in their fleece prior to sheering, this tradition is carried on with a reduced number of animals, this was one of todays lucky ewes.
