Enjoying the sun

It wasn’t only the tulips that enjoyed the sun this afternoon, I was able to sit outside and it was really warm at last. I took out some outstanding WI paperwork and crossed it off my list, then did some of my patchwork. At four o’clock a thick black cloud came over and suddenly it was too cold to stay outside.
In extra you can see through the kitchen window a visitor to the garden. After lunch a pair of carrion crows were taking it in turns to pick up from the wall pieces of fat cut from our lunch. They fill their beaks then fly away to eat it before coming back for more. They are very handsome with their glossy plumage.
