Learning on the Job

First of all, thank you very much for the stars, hearts and comments on my 13 year blip yesterday.

Bb arrived back last night. Feels like home again.

We caught up on things this morning, balcony and patio life, and a wee bit of work and plant moving around. I also planted some chard and spinach seeds. Fingers crossed!

Walked along Diagonal and down Enrique Granados and had a stop here, before a couple of tapas at Piola, where we always think of our late friend Helen B. Shame they didn’t have their classic salad of chicken, mushroom, cheese and mayonnaise, which we love. Their excuse of it being a quieter weekend because of a holiday Monday didn’t really justify it for us.

My blip’s in the place next door to Piola, where we stopped first. Modern vibes, but they’ve kept the original floor tiles and fittings. This young barman was improving his Spanish with the help of the Spanish server. Not sure of his nationality. Unusually for Barcelona, they had flamenco music playing.
