The Reliant Robins...
...and they weren't talking about the cars, this was a member of the new security detail being trialled at a local superstore, and Robin the Reliant - as he was nicknamed, took his job very seriously.
It was simple, in order to show diversity in the workforce, and to stop people complaining about penalty notices being given, Robin and his team of Robins, were informed which customer car had outstayed its welcome, and instead of a fine, the windscreen, well, received a few 'presents' from the birds....
So, Robin was thrilled, whereas he got told off by his wife for making a mess at home, he was now paid to make a mess at work!
And it had worked, word had quickly spread, and barely a handful of people each week overstayed their welcome. The local car wash had been, and still did benefit from this scheme, leaving Robin the Reliant too burst into song now and then ;-)
