Watch dog…

So we’ve arrived at our holiday cottage in the Scottish Borders. Only two hours from home but far enough that we feel we’re “away” :-)

The cottage is lovely. Traditionally furnished but warm and cosy with everything we need and a bunch of wild flowers in a vase on the kitchen table.

Sue, the cottage owner, popped in to welcome us and answer any questions we might have about the cottage and the area. She was lovely and made a fuss of Lola. She gave David info about where he could walk Lola off lead. Important as we are right in the middle of farming country and don’t want to upset any farmers!

Lola loves the cottage and has made herself at home. She particularly loves the front door as she can see the beautiful horses in the field opposite :-))

Just about to tuck into pizza and salad with a glass of chilled rosé then it will be feet up and chill whilst going through the pile of information brochures to plan our week.
