Pastels today

I had a welcome day off from walking today and caught up with the usual mundane and boring tasks, like paying a few bills.

It was the first day to try out the serum eye drops for Mum. So far, so good.

I braved the cold to photograph a tulip or two. I had seen an image I liked of a tulip where both flower and background were saturated and textured. Once I had worked on this image, I came up with something ethereal and nothing like the other one! My texture here is made from some crustose lichen that had been blurred and coloured.

We watched the 60th anniversary programme about University Challenge and recognised a lot of past players.
