Druid Arch

This beautiful arch is in the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park.

Two of us used multi modal means to attain this arch. Overall, the distance was 20 miles, about 7 of it on mountain bikes and the remainder hiked. Elevation gain/loss was up and down until right at the end when we scrambled up about 500' to the place where this picture was created.

After that, I was so tired that I ate lunch and then took a nap...snoozing under a tree on this red rock.

Then, we walked back. That's when I discovered that my boots need replacement...ooowwwww!
