Hossing with Mum (Day 2912)

After the early wander with Sigyn, and sorting out some stuff at home I took Sigyn across to Mum and Dad's. I swapped Sigyn for Mum and took Mum to the horses.
I got the hay nets filled and distributed, then jumped in George and took him along the shore to "the chasm of doom". He has refused to cross it with Mum on board, so I thought it was worth giving it a try. It is, after all, only a two foot wide stream which he has crossed many times before. After a few stroppy wheelies and a bit of persuasion I got him across, then spent a few minutes going backwards and forwards across the stream. Hopefully he will be better next time.
Back to the field and Mum joined us on Jeeps for a ride along the shore in the sunshine.
Lunch with Mum and Dad, then off to Yesnaby with Sigyn for a really grand walk and a bit of a paddle in the sea for Sigyn (extra).
Back at the ranch I got Mum and Dad's grass cut before a last visit to the horses.
Dinner with Mum and Dad rounded off a busy old day which has been punctuated with reports of the continuing adventures of my beautiful wife's.
