Beyond Sad.

Neo died today, with his head in my hand and Alexandra holding his paw.

I made the decision not to treat him as it may only have given him another year, and the treatment itself would only have distressed him.

I will miss his little button nose, his soft paws and the little chirrup sound he made when he wanted food.

He was our lap cat and the one that kept me warm in winter.

He was always around watching what was going on.

The house seems very quiet without him, and Sophia is wandering around looking for him.

I hope he's now safe in the arms of Christian, at least that's how I like to imagine him.
