The road from Windermere to the Kirkstone Pass has a well positioned lay-by for this view to the Troutbeck Hills.

Tree Pipit singing high and the the classic parachuting into one tree top after another. Low pass by a Buzzard making it into a tourist eagle.

A leisurely drive north through the Yorkshire Dales stocking up on provisions at the highly recommended Booths Supermarkets. ( “Waitrose is the Booths of the South” is what they say up here)
