Calne (Friday 28th April 2023)

I was unexpectedly called in to the surgery on this morning. After a 25 minute walk and waiting for 15 minutes beyond the appointment time I found that the diabetic nurse was as puzzled as I was. It turned out to be a bureaucratic error and I had been asked to fast for no reason as the tests had already been recently done.

I walked back via Calne to go to the shops and when I saw this mural, which I wouldn't normally go past, I was reminded that it had been painted earlier in the month by a local arts group that included fellow Calne blipper SJ Sayer, who had posted a very similar blip of her handiwork. Catherine Crofts from the Calne Clean Up Crew liaised the project with Calne Town Council and the mural was designed by Oli Knowles, whose assistants were SJ Sayer,  Samantha Payne and Penny Errill.
