We went down to the Welland Canal today to watch the SS Keewatin being towed through it. This ship is five years older than the Titanic!  It was used as a passenger ship on the Great Lakes but has been retired for many years. It is being towed to Hamilton for some repairs and then on to Kingston where it will continue to be a museum of a bygone era.
