Two eggs today

There were two (2) eggs this morning. The humdrum continues.

It is cold. Last night there was some snow. I haven't seen the male for quite some time, yet he is supposed to feed her as she can't leave the eggs long enough to catch anything.

She is hungry, and very uncomfortable. She doesn't have any recess in her ribcage for eggs. Here she is trying to dig a pit for the eggs.

This is labor. I wish the hunters who shoot - bang ! - a bird, a deer, a whatever live creature would have to go through all of the phases the mothers of a new life must go through before it is there for you to - bang ! - kill and disgrace in every possible way.
