Had a brilliant day out eating a lot of food today. I couldn't decide which pic to put up but I chose this one as it is the one that beat me!
We started off at el metro which is yummy tapas bar, had bloody Mary's and sangria to kill our hangovers from staying out too late the night before! Then had jamon, chorizo, olives, king prawns and antipasto. Soo nice! Then Nat and Dan came, so they ordered a round of tapas then we went to a cake shop for cake and coffee....See above! The portion sizes are ridiculous! Sooo big! The pic does not do it justice it was massive. Mike had lemon cake, Nat had pear and almond tart and Dan and I had the same one and he was almost beaten by it as well! It is pear and banana cake made with a lot of thick cream! Diabetes on a plate!!
Then went to pub to watch the football and to bodeans BBQ for a meat platter, so much food! And a doggy bag ;-) I am supposed to be on a pre holiday diet??!!!!
