Prairie Dog

Walking in Thornton Colorado behind Jo's house there is a whole population of these little critters.  As you walk closer to their burrows, you can hear them signaling each other that there is danger afoot, and they then disappear in a flash once you get too close.  Managed to capture this one before his disappearance.  Weather was perfect, warm and sunny but not too hot.  A good time away, if not the journey back when security took virtually an hour to traverse.  Was missing the little plane when we used to just load our bags and take off in our own time and no security.  But this is a new season!
