Water Joy

We took Caspar to the nearby bathing spot in the Gersprenz. We went rather late, hoping the annoying group of dog owners (with their dogs) would have gone.
They were, but instead we met a gentle person from Venezuela with his German Shepherd, 8 months of age. The next half hour we watched both dogs play together, on land and in the water.
Playing in the water was new to Caspar, but he learned quickly. One time he even went too far and had to swim back. First time, but it didn't scare him.
So, we all hope we will meet again. Friendly acquaintances are so important for the character.
But next time at least will have to use a translator. The man spoke no German, some few English words, and a lot of Spanish, as spoken in Venezuela. Quite difficult to understand for us.
PS: the dogs had no problem to understand each other, or even us.
