Drought buster

We drove home in heavy rain for 9 1/2 hours. We saw 3 accidents. Two held us up for about a half an hour each. The third one happened immediately in front of us close to home. They jumped out of the vehicles so we kept going as it was pouring and a blind spot in the road. It appeared to be damage only. Our yard was so flooded we had to unload the truck backed up to the front door. I did not get to check my cold frame or garden. I won't be planting anything any time soon except some flower pots. I'll be interested to check the rain gauge tomorrow.
Tried to catch up on your journals on the ride home but I still have more to do. Thanks for the visits.
