One Tree
Some Blipfoto history(to the best of my knowledge):
Copied then edited from my blip of 12 February 2022. I kept the joke, too.
The "One Tree" tag was first regularly used by @earthdreamer in 2012 for a series of photos of the same stand of trees over the course of a couple of years.
In December 2014, @martindawe suggested One Tree
on the challenge page as a regular feature or project. The idea was, among other things, to capture changes not only in the tree but also by different times of the year. At the time, the forums weren't regularly read by everyone, but this idea got traction by word of mouth.
I posted my first One Tree on 18 March 2015. In 2017, I posted it in February. After I took that photograph, I realized what terrible condition it was in, and despite it being close but not within my property, I paid to have it professionally trimmed. It was all cleaned up and looking fine in the March 2018 photo.
All of my One Trees can be found here but they don't seem to be in chronological order.
I hope the challenge can be taken up, especially by “new-ish” blippers!

Once there were three turtles. One day they decided to go on a picnic.
When they got there, they realized they had forgotten the water. The youngest turtle said he would go home and get it if they wouldn’t eat the sandwiches until he got back.
A week went by, then a month, finally a year, when the two turtles said, “Oh, come on, let’s eat the sandwiches.”
Suddenly the little turtle popped up from behind a rock and said, “If you do, I won’t go!”
