Cosy night and low cloud, fine persistent rain we weren't that enthusiastic to get up high so spent the morning exploring and navigating about to obscure non features eventually back to the station.
Off the train to find the canoe and kit we'd stashed earlier.
Very lovely paddle/sail down Loch Laidon looking into Glen Coe.
A pocket of signal and a good look around suggested the big rain was coming sooner than we hoped. So instead of a camp at the far end just to paddle out in the morning we opted to make the most of the light and push through to finish tonight.
Tea on an island and heads down for the paddle into the wind. Off the water by 10:25pm. Efficient portage and faff had us driving away by 11.
Lots of adventure squeezed into not a lot of time! Lots of just enjoying being out somewhere cool and minimal suffering. Happy days :)
