Knee high boots
It was the first time I had returned to Lower Beacon Hill since February 5th, the week after my leg had begun to fracture. This time, with the help of the Granny trolley, I was able to get to the café to enjoy a latte and a toasted sandwich, and watch families enjoying themselves.
As in February, horses feature in the day's blip. This time I noticed that they were wearing knee high boots. I hadn't realised horses would wear socks and boots. Apparently, it's to protect their legs against injury or sometimes just for effect.
