Well how could I resist!

Travelling home we stopped to see the most photographed tree at Sycamore Gap. We walked some distance from the car park following the up and down path alongside the walls in the late afternoon damp air and we wondered what it must have been like for those Roman soldiers in the bitter winter snow clambering up and down this path - they must have really upset someone! The views were great and I was glad we had detoured slightly.
