Vale Randolph

Wakes are a tradition. They may take different forms around the world but in Oz, when it’s for a senior, respected member of the community they tend to be well lubricated events with plenty of humour, food and stories (some of them true).
Today was the wake for our good friend Randolph who I knew as a client of my veterinary practice for 30 years, dinner party companion and regular member of “The Office”. I have blipped this Blackheath institution a few times but never with Randolph in the frame so here’s a link to one of isbi’s blips a few years back with Randolph on the right beside wife Janet.
