Hedge is always Greener......

It was hard not to giggle at these lambs who seem to be more interested in the hedge for their sustenance than grass....

We'd walked from Ilam Park to Dovedale and back. Over the stepping stones, my other half had come to the rescue of a lady who slipped off them while trying to carry her small dog. He took charge of the dog while she waded out of the water!

We finished off the walk with the National Trust's cafe's famous spicy veggie pasties.

Not the sunniest of days but dry.

We were also treated to the spectacle of 2 red kites above Thorpe Cloud. The first we've ever seen in the area.
