Visited the DDR museum to learn more about life in East Germany during the Communist era. Interesting to see how a centrally planned economy monumentally failed to keep abreast of modern technological developments and allowed its automotive industry to persevere with its increasingly outdated Trabant cars.

Later, we caught a tram into north-east Berlin and went to see my cousin Max and his family. We haven't met up since we went to Max and Elena's wedding in Eckenforde in north Germany almost 10 years ago (blip), and they now have two lovely children. Great to catch up with them.
