A delightful Saturday

Got up promptly for another mermaid road trip - a short but warm little lido followed by a perfect full English breakfast in a lovely cafe in Chesham.

Home. MightMouse had 5 friends over and I started the gardening. I’m going to try, but expect not to succeed, to grow orange and white flowers to decorate the tables at Dot.T and WelshLads wedding reception.

And in the evening, Elbows and I went out for a lovely meal with friends N&A. Something we haven’t done for yonks but it was a treat. It was also a balmy enough evening to walk around choosing a coffee place.

Also though, trying to compute the knowledge that a young man we’ve known since he was tiny, who’s only 26, is approaching the end of his earthly life. We understand he is trusting Jesus but hearts are heavy.
