Replacement Clematis

As mine as I reported a few days ago. I had a word with the plantswoman at the nursery who said that it’s been a bad year for clematis. Apparently it’s due to a bit of warm weather and then cold/frost which causes the main stem to “explode” as the water the plant draws freezes and then expands! Think that’s clear…!
